The Lions Lake park features a 13-acre lake which is open to fishing and boating and stocked with trout by the PA Fish and Boat Commission. One of the local parks is Union Canal Tunnel Park. This is the site of the Union Canal Tunnel, the oldest existing transportation tunnel in the United States. Swatara State Park is about 14 miles north of Lebanon and features 3,520 acres of outdoor recreation including 18.2 miles of hiking trails and several access points to Swatara Creek for canoeing, kayaking, or fishing.
The Lebanon Valley is home to many quaint small towns including Annville, Mt. Gretna, Myerstown, and Jonestown. Overall, these spots and Downtown Lebanon offer cafes, breweries, shops, culture and heritage. They are also great walkable communities. The home is in Cornwall-Lebanon School District. This public-school district is in the south-central part of Lebanon County and encircles the city of Lebanon. Therefore, the student population of Cedar Crest is a little over 4,800 which makes it the largest of the six schools in Lebanon County. Cornwall-Lebanon School District, nicknamed Cedar Crest is home of The Falcons.
