Sell, Sell, Sell….

If you are thinking about selling your home in Lebanon County you will want to read this. 

There are 198 homes currently for sale as of March 11, 2019.  So, does that mean it’s a good time to sell?  Yes, the answer is yes!

If you remember anything remember this statement: buy in a buyer’s market and sell in a seller’s market.  Sounds simple but let’s define exactly what a seller’s market really is; the demand for housing is high and supply (houses for sale/inventory) is low.

Take a look at the chart below to see the number of homes for sale in different price ranges in Lebanon County right now:

$100,000 – $149,000      24

$150,000 – $199,000      47

$200,000 – $249,000      20

$250,000 – $299,000      14

$300,000 – $349,000       19

$349,000 +                        41

During 2018 there were 1,710 homes sold which translates into on average 142 home sales per month.  Using that information, we only have 198 homes for sale or just a little over a months’ worth of inventory currently.    

So remember, when thinking of selling in a seller’s market take advantage of the following:

• Low inventory
• More buyers than Homes for Sale
• And less competition in the housing market.
